Sulfur Recovery Unit
The sulfur recovery project is a key environmental protection project for oil refining, natural gas purification and coal chemical companies. We adopt the mature Claus process + new ammonia desulfurization technology to convert 98% of H2S into elemental sulfur through the third-level Claus. The residual sulfide in the tail gas is converted into sulfur dioxide by incineration, and it is converted by the new ammonia desulfurization process. It is an ammonium salt (chemical fertilizer), so that the sulfur dioxide content in the exhaust flue gas is less than 50mg/m³, which can meet the special emission limit of flue gas sulfur dioxide <100mg/m³.
i) Claus furnace
The principle is to make hydrogen sulfide incompletely burn, and then make the generated sulphur-dioxide react with hydrogen sulfide to generate sulfur. If the air and hydrogen sulfide are mixed in a proper ratio, all the hydrogen sulfide can be turned into sulfur and water.
This method is widely used in the removal of hydrogen sulfide in the exhaust gas in geothermal power generation. This method is widely used in the processing of coal, petroleum and natural gas (such as the production of synthetic ammonia feed gas, refinery gas processing, etc.), and the hydrogen sulfide produced in the desulfurization The purity of the sulfur recovered by the Claus process can reach 99.8%, which can be used as a sulfur resource for the production of sulfuric acid, and can also be used as a chemical raw material for other sectors.
ii) Claus recovery unit
The sulfur recovery device uses H2S excessive operation to suppress the SO2 content in the tail gas, so the total sulfur recovery rate of the device is high, and the operation process is continuous without periodic switching, and can be operated continuously. The selective oxidation reaction is a thermodynamically complete reaction, so a high conversion rate can be achieved. Also, because the sulfur recovery device uses a special selective oxidation catalyst, the catalyst is insensitive to water and excess oxygen, and side reactions do not occur. In addition, without any treatment of the tail gas, the total sulfur conversion rate can reach 99% or more than 99.5%, and meet the environmental protection emission requirements. It has the dual functions of sulfur recovery and tail gas treatment.
